Eric-Jean Desbois - Co-founder and CEO

Eric-Jean Desbois understands the real needs of both the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry with more than 10 years spent in continuing medical education developing highly innovative educational initiatives as well as several years in the pharmaceutical sphere occupying managerial and operational posts.

In addition, since Eric-Jean has worked in international pharmaceutical companies where he was able to follow each step in the development of innovative molecules, he understands the necessity to introduce education into each phase of the clinical development cycle.


Richard Weiskopf, MD - Vice President, Medical Affairs

Richard Weiskopf, MD has provided his consulting services for Med Ed Global Solutions for several years since its creation. He contributes his extensive research, education and experience in the areas of anesthesia, hemostasis, and oxygen transport. During his more than twenty years as Professor in the department of Anesthesia at the University of California, San Francisco, he served on several steering committees including perioperative engineering, transfusion, and research. Since then, he has served as an advisor on several national committees offering his scientific input during FDA and NIH panels.

In addition, he was an editor of the Anesthesiology journal and has authored and co-authored impactful articles in key scientific journals such as JAMA and the Lancet, and has been a referee for many journals. He has been a visiting professor at numerous universities, and has given many invited lectures at scientific meetings and forums which demonstrate his abilities as an educator in the medical community. His value to the medical community is further enhanced by his having held the position of Executive Scientific Advisor and Vice President of Novo Nordisk A/S. Both his vast knowledge and experience in medicine, education and the pharmaceutical industry make him a real asset in developing, high-quality innovative educational programs.

Armine Najand, MD - General Manager, Medical and Production

Armine Najand, MD has been a consultant for MedEd GS since its creation. He became the Medical Director for the company in 2000. Believing that medical education and communication is essential for healthcare professionals who have the best interests of their patients in mind, he first developed a passion for streamlining medical and scientific knowledge through modern information systems in 1982. In this way, he became a founding and leading member of medical associations with education and information as core activities.

He has been a member of the steering committees of major national and international medical symposia since 1996. Well acquainted with scientific information and information technologies, Dr. Najand has been appointed by academic and scientific associations for coordinating educational standard and electronic publications, including animations, videos and Internet tools.


Yann Colardelle - Co-founder and General Manager, Sales Marketing and Business Development

Before co-founding MedEd Global Solutions in 1998, Yann Colardelle worked for six years at Publicis, the leading French advertising company, where he gained a full understanding of communication and operational marketing strategies in the B2B situation as well as the general public.

His areas of expertise include all aspects of communication media et non-media communication as well as event management. He is naturally results-oriented and is perfectly at ease with international projects, he believes in the combined forces of exactitude and creativity.
