Encouraging change
MedEd Global Solutions helps move research and information from those who create it to those who will be able to use it to improve medical practice.
Our grantors appreciate how we encourage a conceptual use of knowledge,
whereby the transmission of knowledge not only leads to changes in
levels of understanding or attitude, but also to changes in behaviour and practice.
In order to bring innovation into the healthcare sphere it is necessary to
encourage change, this is done through an educational process.
Knowledge is a continuing and changing process: the different
components of the knowledge cycle are knowledge creation, knowledge
dissemination, and knowledge understanding and utilization. The concept
of the cycle implies continuous interaction among its parts, it is the
MedEd GS’s philosophy to assure this continuous interaction among the
components. MedEd GS seeks to encourage innovation and enhance patient
outcome by helping our grantors to implement evidence based
recommendations they feel strongly about. We provide our supporters with
the solution to achieving innovation in clinical practice. |
